Vision Elements Early Defense is a triple-carotenoid ocular nutrition formula containing all three macular pigments: lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin. It's taken once daily to help support macular pigment density. The carotenoids comprising the macular pigment are known for their blue light filtration and antioxidant properties. Preliminary studies show maintaining macular pigment density helps support normal vision. Eye care professionals advise increasing intake of macular carotenoids, especially through a healthy diet, to help support aging eyes. *

  • Ingredients

    Clean label Ingredients: Carotenoids derived from non-GMO marigold flowers are encapsulated in plant-based capsules made from cellulose- no animal by-product gelatin. 


    A small amount (1 mg) of sunflower-derived Vitamin E acts as a natural preservative. 

     

    The carotenoids are carried in a base of olive oil and non-soy lecithin, with no synthetic emulsifiers, such as  polysorbate (Tween 80).
