Brannen Hinton

CEO

Brannen’s experience in eye care begins in his family’s optometric practice on Florida’s Sun Coast. Following 4 years studying Interdisciplinary Science at the University of South Florida in Tampa, he joined Carl Zeiss in a technical sales and business development role, later attending the OSU Spears School of Business. Brannen’s science and business background supported the early expansion of a notable ocular nutrition firm to Canada. Here he meets, Jen, his wife and ultimate business partner, together founding Vision Essence, Inc. in 2018 in Canada. Brannen appreciates the mentors and brilliant scientists who’ve helped develop his deep understanding of the pharmacogenomics of ocular nutrition, leading to award-winning study design concepts.

Jennifer Jurinic-Hinton

Principal Managing Director

Jen has enjoyed a 22 year career entirely in healthcare, concentrating on vision care, dental, and alternative health and wellness treatments, She brings knowledge of international strategy, business development, operations and sales management roles. Her professional experience spans high-tech start-ups and global healthcare organizations. 

Jen holds a BA from the University of Toronto and a 1st degree black belt in Shotokan karate, one of her many passions.
